Life Settlements
How the process works
Six steps, start to finish. Most policy owners complete the entire process in a few weeks.
Contact Settlement Options
Reach out by phone, email, or our online form. We'll walk through your policy details and whether a life settlement fits your situation — no cost, no obligation.
We secure a policy valuation
We present your policy to our network of licensed buyers and investors to establish a competitive valuation.
You review your offer(s)
We walk you through every offer in plain language so you can weigh it against your financial and estate planning goals.
Complete the paperwork
If you accept an offer, we help you complete the required transfer documentation — typically a one-to-two week process.
Funds move to escrow
Once paperwork is complete, funds are placed in a third-party escrow account and ownership transfer is submitted to your insurance carrier.
You receive payment
After the carrier verifies the change of ownership, escrow releases your funds — typically within 72 hours of confirmation.

What to expect along the way
- No upfront costs. You pay nothing to get an estimate, and nothing unless your policy sells.
- Non-binding at every stage. You can walk away from any offer, for any reason, until you sign.
- Third-party escrow. Funds are held by an independent escrow agent, not by us or the buyer directly.
- A reconsideration period. Most states give you 15–30 days after closing to change your mind — see our Compliance & Disclosures page.
