Who we are

Settlement Options specializes in education and outreach in the life settlement and viatical settlement industry. We are not the buyer in a life settlement transaction — we refer qualified individuals to licensed entities that purchase policies. Settlement Options is an affiliate of Settlement Group.

No upfront fees

We do not charge a fee to provide an estimate or to submit your policy information. Any fees associated with a completed transaction are fully disclosed before you're asked to agree to anything.

Non-binding process

Any estimate or offer presented to you is non-binding until you choose to accept it in writing. You are under no obligation to proceed with a life settlement at any point in the process.

Right of rescission

Many states provide policy owners a period of time after closing — commonly 15 to 30 days — during which they may rescind a completed life settlement transaction. This right, and the exact time period, varies by state. Ask your representative for the specific rescission period that applies to you.

Licensing
